Christmas Pics

Christmas 2008

This year, Taylor really started to enjoy opening the presents. We started the ripping and she finished it. It was really cute. SHe has a new baby to drag around by the hair, a new Elmo that she dances with, new clothes to wear, and tons of new books to read. It was a good Christmas. We got to see all the family, except a few, sowe were blessed there. Sorry for the lack of pictures.

Just a little update, a few facts about Taylor lately:

she loves mashed potatoes, cheese, pizza, and chocolate milk (chocote Mook)

she is in a big girl bed now- bye bye crib!!

she can speak some complete sentences (WOW!)

she knows her ABC's and can count to 10!! We are working on colors now!

Elmo's World is her favorite show

she dances to the "Friends" theme song

she sings to Dashboard Confessional and Taylor Swift in the car (really off key but so cute)

That's just a few things she is doing that are noteworthy right now. More later...

Thanksgiving

We all went to Blake's parents for Thanksgiving this year. I, of course, didn't get any pictures because I completely forgot. Loser Mom again... haha Then, Brenda, Amber, and I went shopping the day after Thanksgiving. It was crazy. I would ahve had a lot more fun if I wasn't so stinkin sick. Twelve weeks, schmelve weeks.

Then, the Saturday after we went to my parents for Thanksgiving with Nana and Papa. It was great to see them and I was thankful that Taylor was sweet and warmed up quickly. She gave lots of kisses and hugs and sang Happy Birthday to Nana, which was super cute.

Big Loser Mom

OK, so I haven't posted a single stinkin picture since before Halloween. SORRY!!! So, let's start with some cute Halloween pics. Taylor was a ballerina.

Cousins

While Ron & Brenda were down last weekend, we went to the new Salt Lick in Round Rock. It was delicious! Here is a picture of Taylor with her cousins, Drew and Ryan at the Salt Lick. I can't believe Amber got a shot of them all smiling at the same time! Amazing! The other picture is of my little football fan. She watched the OU & UT game. She screamed when we did, cheered when we did, and yelled GOGOGO at the television. It was so cute! Then last weekend, we watched the UT & Misourri game at Amber & Peter's after the Salt Lick and she was at it again. SHe would yell and say "Touchdown!" with her hands in the air. Too cute.

Clothes Horse

Taylor decided to take all of her clothes I was folding and put them on. Anyone recall Friends, "Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" I think she was wearing at least 5 bottoms, 4 tops, a dress, a sock on one hand, and a diaper cover on her head (maybe 2). She got tired of it pretty quick, as soon as she was having a hard time moving around, and got grumpy, but it was funny while it lasted.

Workin' Out with Daddy!

Taylor watches Blake work out sometimes, and she thinks she needs to get in on the action. She bends way over and sticks her butt out when he does squats and she is doing a great job with pull ups, just like Daddy. While she was doing them, they counted, "One, two, three, four five!" When she finished, she ran to me, gave me a hug, and ran back to Blake and said "Again!?" It was too cute. Speaking of words, she can say, here is a very abbreviated list of her words (she can say SO many!)

That's all I can think of, but she has such a big vocabulary!! It is amazing. She also loves to sing Twinkle, twinkle, Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider (Pider), etc. She is a little off key, but it is so cute!
